Riomaggiore is easy to reach and well connected to the other Cinque Terre villages.
🚆 By train: The easiest and most convenient option. Riomaggiore station is a few minutes from the centre and connects quickly with other villages (Manarola 2 min, Vernazza 10 min, Monterosso 15 min).
🚗 By car: You can drive up to the paid parking area at the entrance of the village. The inner streets are pedestrian only.
🚤 By boat: From spring to autumn, ferries run regularly to the other villages, La Spezia, Portovenere and Lerici.
🥾 On foot: Scenic hiking trails within the Cinque Terre National Park connect all five villages — perfect for nature lovers.

Riomaggiore is the first of the five villages that make up the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Cinque Terre, and one of the most authentic and picturesque. Its colorful houses climb the hill above the sea, creating a postcard-perfect landscape.
